MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Post University men's soccer team was defeated by #4 Southern New Hampshire 2-0 on Wednesday night in Manchester, N.H. The Eagles had a season-high 14 shots in the loss.
The Penmen scored their first goal on a penalty kick in the 13
th minute by Rayane Boukemia. Southern New Hampshire added another in the 24
th minute as Sebastian Stezewski scored to the upper-left corner of the goal from 25 yards out.

Gustavo Ferreira (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) and graduate student
Anthony Asante (Bronx, N.Y.) each had shots on goal down the stretch of the first half, but neither could beat the Penmen keeper.
Post had a great chance to cut the deficit early in the second half. Senior
Francisco Sastre (Sao Paolo, Brazil) had a shot on goal. Classmate
Jacob Butler-Bowdon (Adelaide, Australia) had his shot blocked by the defense just a few seconds later.
The Eagles tallied nine shots, four on target, in the second half. Asante led Post with three shots. Sastre and freshman
Andre Riello (Sao Paolo, Brazil) each added two shots off the bench. Junior goalkeeper
Serigne Baba Gaye (Dakar, Senegal) made five saves on the night.
Post returns to action on Saturday in its home-opener and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe Philadelphia. Kick-off at LaMoy Field is set for 2:30 p.m.
