NYACK, N.Y. – The Post women's volleyball picked up a 3-0 road victory over Nyack on Tuesday night. The Eagles won by scores of 25-8, 25-16, and 25-20 to improve to 11-5 overall and 4-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.
Senior
Kristine Ripson (Youngstown, N.Y.) hit .643 on the night and led Post with 10 kills and seven blocks (five assists). Junior
Morgan Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) added seven kills, 10 digs, and a team-high two service aces.
Freshman
Brianna Root (Bristol, Conn.) put up 28 assists. Senior
Janiellee Alvarez (Norwich, Conn.) recorded 14 digs and one ace. The Eagles hit .333 as a team, their second-highest output of the season.
Post has won six of its last seven games.
The Eagles visits Concordia on Thursday night. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
