Women’s Lacrosse Drops CACC Contest To Holy Family

Polaski Scores All Three Post Goals



WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's lacrosse team was defeated by Holy Family 14-3 at home Wednesday in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game at LaMoy Field. Senior Miranda Polaski (Agawam, Mass.) had all three goals for the Eagles.
 
Polaski scored the first goal with 12:36 left in the first after winning the draw and taking the ball the distance. She scored her second as time expired in the half. The final goal was scored off a free-position shot late in the game.
 
Senior Eryka Baez (Clifton, N.J.) grabbed four of the Eagles' 17 ground balls on the day and also had a team-high two caused turnovers. Freshman Sam Rodriguez (Wayne, N.J.) had two shots and two ground balls. Goalkeeper Kathy Walker (Dorchester, Mass.) made a season-high 16 saves.
 
Post returns to action Sunday, April 12 at home against Dominican. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
