ResultsCALDWELL, N.J. – The Post University men's tennis fell to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) rival Caldwell 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles now stand at 8-9 overall and 2-3 in CACC play with just four matches remaining.
Freshman
Martin Munoz (Las Palmas, Spain) and sophomore
Alejandro Perez (Bogata, Colombia) earned the only doubles point for Post in the second spot as they defeated Yuvraj Bains and Pedro Vizcaino 8-2. Junior
Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) and senior
Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Quebec) fell 8-6 in a close match in first doubles.
Munoz made quick work of Hugo Castalan 6-0, 6-2. Tadros earned a 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory over Maximilian Ziegler in second singles. Fanous won in three sets over Christopher Long 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
Post looks to get back on track Friday as it hosts St. Thomas Aquinas in its home finale. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
