ResultsROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Post men's tennis team was defeated by Roberts Wesleyan 6-3 in its regular season finale on Tuesday. The Eagles finish the regular season at a record of 10-10.
Juniors
Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) and
David Narovec (Linz, Austria) took the Eagles' only points in doubles as they defeated Gui Plentz de Liz and Dstin Eshleman 8-3.
In singles action, senior
Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Quebec) won in three sets in second singles, 6-4, 4-6, 5-4 over Robert Beer. Sophomore
Alejandro Perez (Bogata, Colombia) battled back from a set down to defeat Rene Torti 0-6, 7-6, 10-8.
Despite the loss Post clinches the third seed in the CACC Tournament and will play host Chestnut Hill in the first round on Saturday, April 18 at 1 p.m. The winner will play either top-seeded Concordia or Philadelphia in the championship.
