ResultsBLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Post University men's tennis team moved one step closer to clinching its second-straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament bid with an 8-1 victory over Bloomfield in its conference finale on Saturday.
Post took all three doubles matches to start the day. Freshman
Martin Munoz (Las Palmas, Spain) and senior
Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Quebec) swept Vadim Kustov and Thulani Hove in the top spot 8-0.
Juniors
Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt),
David Narovec (Linz, Austria), and Jonythan Young (Norwalk, Conn.) won their singles matches in straight sets. Fanous defeated Shimarhi Shuler 6-3, 6-2, Narovec earned a 6-4, 6-2 win over Nikola Seles. Young took a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Arthur Clapot.
The Eagles have completed conference play, but can clinch a tournament berth with a loss by Caldwell in either of its final two CACC matches. Post can earn as high as the third seed in the tournament which will be held at Chestnut Hill beginning on April 18.
