Post Men’s Tennis Falls To Detroit and Eckerd

Eagles Play Cedarville Tomorrow In Final Florida Match

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Post University men's tennis team lost to Division I Detroit-Mercy 6-1 this morning in Orlando, Fla. In their second match of the day the Eagles were on the losing end to Eckerd 8-1.

Sophomore Alejandro Perez (Bogata, Colombia) earned the Eagles only point against Detroit with a 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 win at fourth singles against Chance Conley.

The Titans won all three doubles matches to earn the first point. Juniors Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Quebec) and Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) played a close match at the second spot but fell to Patryk Koscielski and Conley 8-6.

Against Eckerd, freshman Martin Munoz (Claret, Spain) defeated Yosua Adiyasa 6-4, 3-6, 10-3 in the top single spot. Junior Vladyslav Dyenyezhka (Kharkiv, Ukraine) played tough against Connor Masella before losing 6-2, 2-6, 10-5.

Post returns to action for its final match in Florida tomorrow against Cedarville. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
