ResultsPHILADELPHIA, Pa. -Â The Post University men's tennis team was defeated by Chestnut Hill 6-3 Sunday in its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opener. The Eagles won three singles matches to earn their points.
After dropping all three doubles matches, Post answered back to tie the match 3-3 by winning the first three singles. Freshman
Martin Munoz (Claret, Spain) defeated the East Region #18 Pedro Oranges in top singles 2-6, 6-4, 6-1. Senior
Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Quebec) made quick work of Mike Humes 6-2, 6-1. Sophomore
Alejandro Perez (Bogata, Colombia) beat Kevin Taylor in fourth singles, 6-4, 6-4. Juniors
Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) and
David Narovec (Linz, Austria) fell in closely contested three-set matches.
Post returns to action tomorrow on the road against USciences. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m.
