PREVIEW: Men’s Tennis Visits Defending JUCO Champion ASA College

Eagles 0-1 On The Early Season

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's tennis will travel to Brooklyn, N.Y. this Sunday to take on ASA College. First serve is set for 10 a.m. The Avengers won the Junior College National Championship a year ago.

The Eagles dropped their season opener last Sunday to regionally ranked Queens College 8-1. Juniors Nicholas Tadros (Quebec, Canada) and Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) clinched Post's lone point at number two doubles. The Eagles will look to compete against ASA at the US National Tennis Center as last time both teams met; Post dropped the match 9-0.

ASA returns to the courts after tough win against #15 NYIT 4-3. ASA clinched the win with the doubles point after splitting singles points. The Avengers are 3-1 on the early season. Their only loss came in their season opener against Duquesne University 6-1.
