LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Post University women's volleyball team defeated Bloomfield 3-0 on Saturday afternoon to grab the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Championship for the second straight season. The Eagles earn an automatic bid into the NCAA
Tournament.
Post took the sets by scores of 25-14, 25-21, and 25-19 to defeat the Bears for the second time this season. Junior
Skylar German (Kansas City, Mo.) led the Eagles with 15 kills and hit .520 on the day. She also had eight digs and four blocks. Classmate
Morgan Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) landed 12 kills, eight digs, and two aces.
Senior
Kristine Ripson (Youngstown, N.Y.) had 10 kills and two blocks. Freshman
Brianna Root (Bristol, Conn.) put up 46 assists and led the team with nine digs.
