WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's volleyball team won its sixth consecutive home game on Thursday night with a 3-0 victory over Nyack. The Eagles improve to 19-8 overall and 12-3 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.
Junior
Skylar German (Kansas City, Mo.) recorded a hitting percentage of .923 on the night with 12 kills on 13 attacks. It is the highest single-match total in NCAA Division II since 2013. Since the first year records were kept in 1981, just 22 players have achieved at least a .923 percentage on 10 or more attacks.

Hailey Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) added seven kills over to help the Eagles build a 2-0 lead.
The Eagles took a 4-2 lead out the gate in the final set, but the Warriors would not go down easy as they bounced back to jump ahead 9-7. After Post tied the score at 9, Nyack responded with a 7-2 run to take its largest lead of the night at 16-11 and force a timeout.
Out of the break the Eagles got two quick kills from Griffin and one by freshman
Brianna Root (Bristol, Conn.) to cut into the lead. Back-to-back kills by juniors
Morgan Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) and
Kerrin Kallmann (Lake Grove, N.Y.) tied the score 22-22. Nyack reached set point before the Eagles scored the final four points, with two kills by
Hailey Griffin to take the frame 26-24.
Griffin finished with 12 kills, two blocks, and a team-high three service aces. Senior
