"The girls knew if they wanted another home game this season, they had to win today," coach
Matt Micros said. "Lexxi was terrific again, assisting on three of the four goals before we took her out. As we told the girls, we didn't know what to expect coming into the season. We graduated a lot of scoring firepower last year, but to the team's credit, they reinvented themselves from the top scoring team in the league last year, to one of the top defensive teams in the league this year, finishing with an identical conference record in the process. To finish in second place (tied with Holy Family and possibly Caldwell) for the second year in a row shows the kind of consistency we have been striving for in our program."
