"PKs are always a tough way to decide who advances", coach
Matt Micros said. "On the field, we played so hard. I was really proud of the effort. In fact, I've been proud of the effort all year. Such a great group of young ladies. Both teams played hard. A lot of the game was between the 18's and I thought we played really well in that area, but just didn't have enough quality in the final third to put the game away. Plus their GK made two tremendous saves during the game to keep them in it. Full credit to her. She played a terrific game."
"I wasn't sure what to expect at the beginning of the season. But there was no quit in this group. They worked hard as a group and have been so much fun to coach."
