Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University Eagles women's soccer team looks to rebound from its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss, as it takes on Nyack and Wilmington at LaMoy Field.
The Eagles currently sit in third place in the CACC with a 5-2 overall record and a 4-1 conference record.
The Week That WasThe Eagles defeated Dominican, 2-1 on September 23 after freshman
Katharina Mertz (Buxtehude, Germany) scored on a penalty kick in the 86th minute, giving Post the win. The goal was her fourth of the season. Sophomore
Sylvia Yanez (West Haven, Conn.) scored the other goal.
On September 27th, the Eagles suffered their first loss of the conference season, a 3-1 decision to first-place Holy Family. Freshman
Sam Rodriguez (Wayne, N.J.) notched her second goal of the season for Post.
Leading The WayThe Eagles currently have scored 20 goals on the season, the most in the CACC. Senior

A Look At NyackNyack will come to LaMoy Field on September 30 for a 12:30 p.m. match. The Warriors are currently 2-6 overall and 2-3 in the CACC, putting them eighth in the CACC. The Warriors have given up the most goals in the CACC with 28. Francesca Escobedo and Rebekah Lawler lead Nyack with two goals each. In their last game, the Warriors dropped a 5-1 match to Goldey-Beacom.
