PREVIEW: Men’s Tennis Hosts Regionally Ranked Stonehill On Sunday

Eagles Have Won Last Four Matches

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's tennis team will face the East Region's ninth-ranked team, Stonehill, in a non-conference match on Sunday, April 6, at Edgewood Bath and Tennis at 1 p.m.

The Eagles (5-7) are on a four game winning streak, setting a program record.  Post will go back to the courts after defeating Caldwell, 5-4, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game on Wednesday. The Eagles took three singles points and two doubles. Freshman Tyler Ruefenacht (Sandy Hook, Conn.) won both his matches.

Stonehill (9-6) is on a two game losing streak. The Skyhawks lost their last two games to Southern New Hampshire and Division III #18 Gustavus Adolphus, 5-4.

Last time both teams met, Stonehill defeated Post 9-0 at North Easton, Mass.
