Eagles Fall To USciences In Final Regular Season Match

Post Finishes Season At 8-10 Overall, 3-3 In CACC

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. –  The Post University men's tennis team lost its season finale on Saturday afternoon, 5-4, against USciences at Edgewood Bath and Tennis. The Eagles finish at 8-10 overall and 3-3 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play and will hold the fourth seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
 
In doubles, junior Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Quebec) and sophomore Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) took the only points with an 8-3 victory in the second spot.
 
The Eagles and Devils split the singles matches. Freshman Alejandro Perez took out Steven Galerkin 5-7, 7-6 (8-6), 11-9 in the third spot. In fourth singles, sophomore David Narovec (Linz, Austria) won 6-4, 6-5. Senior Danny Bonamassa (Staten Island, N.Y.) won the final home match of his career 1-6, 6-4, 10-8.
 
Post will play top-seeded Concordia in the CACC Tournament on Saturday, April 26 at Chestnut Hill. First serve is set for 10 a.m. No. 2 Chestnut Hill and No. 3 USciences will play in the other first round match at 1 p.m.
