WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University's men tennis will hit the road on Thursday, March 27 to play Bloomfield in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match in Bloomfield, N.J.
The Eagles (2-7, 0-1 CACC) earned their first two victories of the season last week. Post went 2-1 on the week earning its first-ever win over Saint Thomas Aquinas, 6-3, and Dowling, 8-1. The Eagles dropped their conference opener to Chestnut Hill 8-1. Freshman
Alejandro Perez (Colombia) has won his last four singles matches, leading the team with six wins for the year. He was named to the CACC Honor Roll for his performance last week.
The Eagles swept the Deacons (0-3, 0-2 CACC) the two times they met last year. Post didn't surrender one point taking both games 9-0. On March 2, 2013 Post won on the road. Two days later, both teams met again at Edgewood Bath and Tennis and the Eagles claimed their fifth win of the season.
