WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University's men's tennis team will be busy this week playing one away game and hosting two at home.
The Eagles (0-6) will try to claim their first win of the season after they came up short last week against Queens (5-1), falling 5-4 in Flushing, N.Y. Post's first game takes place in Sparkill, N.Y. when it faces non-conference foe Saint Thomas Aquinas (STAC) on Thursday, March 20. This marks the second time both teams face each other this season.

Alejandro Perez (Colombia) and senior
Danny Bonamassa (Staten Island, N.Y.) earned three points out of four for the Eagles, winning their singles matches at number one, four and six, respectively. Bonamassa and Perez lead the team with three victories each and will be looking for their forth of the season.
The Eagles then return home to open their conference schedule against the third seed in east region, Chestnut Hill (7-3) at Edgewood Bath and Tennis in Middlebury, Conn. Friday, March 21 at 2 pm. Both teams met earlier this month during spring break in Tampa, Fla. The Griffins defeated Post 6-3, claiming all three doubles. The three points were won by sophomore
Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt), Perez and Bonamassa at number three, four and six singles.
On Sunday, March 23, the Eagles will face Dowling (0-0) at home in a non-conference match. This marks the first time both teams have met. First serve is set for 1 pm.
Bonamassa was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Honor Roll on March 17 for is 6-0, 6-0 victory over Howard Wong of Queens.
