PREVIEW: Men’s Tennis Travels to Queens On Friday

Post In Search Of First Victory of the Season

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University's men's tennis team will travel to Flushing, N.Y. on Friday, March 14 to play a non-conference match against Queens College at 11 a.m.

The Eagles (0-5) will be looking for their first win of the season when they play the Knights (4-1). Post started the season dropping a close match to St. Thomas Aquinas before losing four in a row. Through five games, senior Danny Bonamassa (Staten Island, N.Y.) and freshman Alejandro Perez (Colombia) lead the team with two single wins each.

The Knights are coming off a tough win over Philadelphia University 5-4. Queens only loss of the season came on Feb. 28 when it faced Division I Fordham, falling 1-6. Younes Hidass lead the knights with four single wins at number one spot.

Last time both team met, Queens cruised over Post 9-0 on March 16, 2013. Sophomore Nicholas Tadros (Quebec, Montreal) fought at the number one spot winning the first set 7-5 before falling to Hiddass in the second and third set 3-6 and 2-6, respectively.
