PREVIEW: Eagles To Face #2 ASA College On Friday

Post Looking For First Victory of the Season

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's tennis team will head to Brooklyn, N.Y. on Friday, Feb. 28, to face Junior College (JUCO) #2 ASA College at the U.S. Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows at 8 a.m. This marks the first time both teams meet.

Post (0-1) is trying to recover from a close loss to Saint Thomas Aquinas last week. Junior Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Quebec) and senior Danny Bonamassa (Staten Island, N.Y.) will both be looking for their second consecutive singles wins.

ASA College (4-1) is coming out of a dominating victory over Division I opponent Wagner 9-0. The Avengers only loss came on Feb. 12 against Morehead State in a close match. ASA will be facing Saint Thomas Aquinas before they take on Post.  The team sports three single players and two double teams in the top 20 in the JUCO rankings.

This will be the last match before the Eagles take off to Florida for spring break where they will face Bethel University (Tenn.) on Sunday, March 2 and Chestnut Hill on Tuesday, March 4.
