WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men's basketball team returns home this week for two games. The Eagles host Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe Bloomfield on Wednesday and Northeast-10 opponent Saint Anselm on Saturday afternoon.

Tyler Desrosiers (Agawam, Mass.) hit from distance to pull the Eagles within four points.

With 27 seconds left New Haven missed two from the line, but Post was unable to take advantage as the Chargers held on for the victory.

Scouting the BearsBloomfield is 3-4 on the year and 2-1 in the CACC. The Bears had their three-game win streak snapped last time out with a 92-80 loss to Dominican. Bloomfield is the top scoring team in the conference at 85.6 points per game and its entire starting five averages over 13.0 points per game, led by Marvin Williams at 17.7. The Bears also allow the most points in the league at 87.0 per outing.

This season Mareno leads the team and is near the top of the conference with 14.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
