Ahead 10-7, Post looked to have the game locked up with 2:35 remaining in regulation after senior
Vincent Dellefave (Montville, N.J.) picked off DeForge in Ravens' territory and returned it down to the 11 yard line. With the interception, Dellefave became Post's career leader with five interceptions.

Two plays later a touchdown by senior
Leslie Morgan (Copiague, N.Y.) was called back because of a penalty. The Eagles were forced to punt and Franklin Pierce took over on its own 17 with 1:35 left.

The Ravens quickly drove down the field with the help of two long passes to Michael Holdbridge and found themselves with a third and goal at Post's four with 18 seconds left. Freshman
Abdul Kanu (Manchester, N.H.) sacked DeForge back to the seven yard line. Franklin Pierce quickly ran the field goal unit into position and Johnny Ciarcia tied the game with a 24-yard kick.

Neither team could get anything going offensively early in the game as the first quarter ended 0-0. After the Eagles fumbled on their opening possession of the second quarter, the Ravens drove down the field for a touchdown to go in front 7-0, a lead they would take into halftime.

Matt Santos (Waterbury, Conn.) recovered a fumble in Ravens' territory on the first play of the third half. Two plays later sophomore
Greg Volpe (North Haven, Conn.) hit freshman
Rahmi Roundtree (Cheshire, Conn.) from 33-yards out to tie the game 7-7.

The Post defense stepped up from there, closing out the third quarter with two fourth-down stops and an interception. Freshman
Matthew Russo (Hicksville, N.Y.) kicked a 20-yard field goal early in the fourth to take a 10-7 lead. Morgan helped setup the drive on a fake toss run that he took for 20 yards.

Volpe finished the afternoon with 149 passing yards and a touchdown. Sophomore
Jarrick Sharp (Hampton, Va.) caught four passes for 47 yards. Sophomore
Josh Cohen (Canyon Lake, Calif.) led the defense with 8.5 tackles, including four for a loss and two sacks.

The Eagles close out the season next Friday, Nov. 7 at Princeton. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
