Mansfield, Pa. – Robert Sherry III scored a touchdown, but the Post University Sprint Football team lost a 28-6 game to Mansfield in a Collegiate Sprint Football League game on Saturday evening.
Sherry III scored on a ten yard pass from quarterback Nick D'Elia with 15 seconds left in the fourth quarter. It was the Eagles most productive drive of the game, going 92 yards on 12 plays. Sherry also caught passes of 11 and 36 yards and Norell Jackson caught passes of 22 yards and 15 during the drive.
Mansfield scored 21 points in the second quarter, including two rushing touchdowns of three and 18 yards from David Butler. Mansfield also scored on a 33-yard TD pass from Dylan Kmitch to D.J. McLean.
D'Elia threw for 144 yards and a touchdown. Sherry III caught five passes for 77 yards. Jackson caught six passes for 66 yards.
Cameron Francette had 13 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Hansley Dalembert had 11 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
