WATERBURY, Conn. – Post welcomes Franklin Pierce to LaMoy Field on Saturday afternoon for its final home game of the season. Prior to the game the Eagles will honor the eight senior members of the team with a short ceremony. The teams are also playing for the CSFL Talon Cup which the Ravens currently hold with their victory in last season's matchup. Post is looking to clinch its third-consecutive winning season.

Last Time Out: Post 17, Cornell 14 – Box Score | Recap | Video HighlightsRunning back Joe Lynch (Wolcott, Conn.) capped off an eight-play drive with a two-yard touchdown run with 36 seconds remaining to give the Eagles a 17-14 victory over Cornell last Friday. The Post defense came up big down the stretch with two interception to help secure the win.

Greg Volpe (North Haven, Conn.) threw for 266 yards, including a 91-yard touchdown to
Jay'Len Mahan (Waterbury, Conn.). Mahan finished with 121 receiving yards and became the third member of Post's 1,000-yard club.
Leslie Morgan (Copiague, N.Y.) finished with four catches for 69 yards.
Tylik Lawson (Berlin, Md.) led the defense with eight tackles and a forced fumble.

Scouting the RavensFranklin Pierce enters its final game of the season with a record of 2-4 overall with victories coming against Princeton and Mansfield. Last time out the Raven fell 45-21 to Navy. Andrew Jean leads the team offensively with 439 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Franklin Pierce is fourth in the CSFL with 150.0 rushing yards per game. The Ravens allow 306.7 yards per contest, good for third in the conference. James Willette is second in the CSFL with 45 tackles.

All-Time SeriesThe Eagles and Ravens have met just twice before, but this is their first game at LaMoy Field. Last season Post had nearly double the offensive yardage as Franklin Pierce, but turnovers and penalties led to a 42-14 loss.

Honored By The ConferenceJay'Len Mahan was named CSFL Special Teams Player of the Week on Oct. 14 for his performance against Navy. Mahan returned the opening kickoff of the game 92 yards for a touchdown, the only points for Post in the game. This season, Mahan has been tremendous on special teams with 246 total return yards on eight returns for an average of 30.7 per return. In addition to the 92-yard return, he has had punt returns of 40 and 42 yards this year.

Vincent Dellefave (Montville, N.J.) earned CSFL Defensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 21 after he grabbed two interceptions against Penn. The senior also was second on the team with four tackles. This season Dellefave leads the CSFL with six passes broken up and has recorded 15 tackles, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.

In The League Rankings – Conference StatisticsAnthony Jamele (Terryville, Conn.) leads the CSFL with 7.8 tackles per game and has 31 on the season. He is also in the top-5 with 4.0 sacks.
Jay'Len Mahan is second with 130.0 all-purpose yards per game with 361 receiving yards, good for third overall.
Joseph Lynch and
Greg Volpe are fourth in the conference, Lynch with 367 rushing yards and Volpe with 750 yards through the air.

Rewriting The Record BooksAnthony Jamele became Post's career leader in sacks on Oct. 17 and now has 14.5 for his career.
Greg Volpe also became the Eagles' all-time leader in passing yards with 1,998 and is 25 yards away from becoming the leader in total offense.
Jay'Len Mahan is currently the leader in all-purpose yards, but can become the all-time leader in receiving yards with 96 more. He also needs three touchdowns to break Dan Awwad's record of 15.
