PREVIEW: Women's Soccer Returns With Two CACC Games This Week

Carroll Has Scored In Three Straight Games

Coming off of a dominating 3-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom on September 21st, the Post Women's soccer team (2-3, 1-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) jumps back into CACC action on Friday, September 25th, when they take on Dominican in Orangeburg, N.Y. at 4 p.m. before returning home after a 14-day home layoff to take on Holy Family at LaMoy Field on September 29th.


On A Roll..

With Renel Dennis (Queens, N,Y.) out, Lexxi Carroll (Plainville, Conn.) has taken over the top scorer's role, as she has scored goals in three consecutive games for the Eagles. Tessa Dunster (Stamford, Conn.) has also put one in the back of the net in the last two games for Post.


Last Time They Met

Overall, Post and Dominican (1-2-11, 1-1, CACC)  have played to a 5-5-2 overall record against each other, with Dominican getting the better of the two teams in their last meeting on September 11th, 2012, in a 5-1 victory at LaMoy Field. Post last won on September 28th, 2010 against the Chargers at LaMoy Field.

The Eagles take a break from their CACC schedule when they take on Molloy at LaMoy field on October 1st at 3 p.m., followed by a game at St. Thomas Aquinas at 3 p.m. on October 3rd. The squad jumps back into CACC action on October 5th, when it plays at Wilmington for a noon start.
