Tennis Falls To Adelphi, 9-0, In Non-Conference Match



MIDDLEBURY, Conn. - The Post Universty men's tennis team dropped its home game to non-conference opponent Adelphi, 9-0, at Edgwood Bath and Tennis on Friday afternoon.
Freshmen Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Canada) and Jonathyn Young (Norwalk, Conn.) nearly pulled off a win in first-flight doubles, but came up short, 9-7.
In singles action, sophomore Dreshawn Lewis (Norwalk, Conn.) fought at number four before he falling to Boris Tiberkov 6-7(0) 2-6. Freshman Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) lost to Sander Brenner in a closely contested match 6-3, 6-4.
The Eagles will be back in action on Monday April 8th against Amercian International at Edgewood Bath and Tennis. First serve is set for 3 pm.
