The Post University Men's Tennis team dropped a close non-conference game against American International College, 5-4, on Monday afternoon at Edgewood Bath and Tennis in Middlebury, Conn.
The Eagles came out with one of three doubles. Junior
Danny Bonamassa (Staten Island, N.Y.) and senior
Mateus Garcia (Sao Lourenco, Brazil) had two wins on the day. In third doubles, Bonamassa and Garcia took over Chandler Long and Jason Popek
for an easy 8-0 win. Freshman
David Narovec (Linz, Austria) and sophomore
Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) battled at second doubles before losing 9-8.
In singles action, Bonamassa had an easy straight-sets victory over Long, 6-0, 6-0. Garcia followed him with a 6-1, 6-3 win against Popek at number five. Sophomore
Dreshawn Lewis (Norwalk, Conn.) gave Post its forth point when he took over Simicek, 6-3, 6-4 at number four.

Post dropped its third straight game against non-conference opponent Stonehill College 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon in North Easton, Mass.
The Eagles dropped all three doubles matches of the day. In singles action, freshman
Jonathyn Young (Norwalk, Conn.) had a tough battle in the first set but he came out short 7-6(3) before Thomas Alaimo claimed the second set 6-1.

The Post University Men's tennis team earned their second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win over Caldwell College 8-1 on Thursday afternoon in Caldwell. N.J.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 2-2 in conference and 6-11 overall for the first time in the program's history. Four players had two wins on the day. In doubles action, freshman
Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Canada) and
Jonathyn Young (Norwalk, Conn.) had an easy 8-2 win at number two. At number three, junior
Danny Bonamassa (Staten Island, N.Y.) and senior Matues Garcia (Sao Lourenco, Brazil) took over Al Navas and Cole Downs for an 8-3 win. Sophomore
Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) and freshmen
David Narovec (Linz, Austria) cruised over Andrei Bozovic and Juan Arencibia 8-6 in the top flight.
In singles action, Tadros claimed the first set against Bozovic, 6-3. Bozovic came back to take the second, 6-3, but Tadros took control in the third with a 6-3 victory. Fanous cruised over Christopher Long, 6-4, 6-1, at number two. Garcia gave up only one game to Downs in the sixth position.
The Eagles will be back in action against Philadelphia University on Saturday, April 13. First serve set for 1 pm.
