PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Post University men's tennis team dropped matches against USciences and Chestnut Hill on Saturday afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. The only victory of the day came in second doubles when freshmen
Nicholas Tadros (Montreal, Canada) and
Jonathyn Young (Norwalk, Conn.) defeated William Metz and Peter Micu of USciences 8-2.
In singles, Tadros fell in the number one flight against Jake Sosonkin, 6-3, 2-6, 10-5. Senior
Mateus Garcia (Sao Lourenco, Brazil) and sophomore
Dreshawn Lewis (Norwalk, Conn.) dropped tough matches at sixth and fifth flight, respectivly, 8-6.
In their second match of the afternoon, the Eagles fell to the Griffins, 9-0. Sophomore
Peter Fanous (Cairo, Egypt) and freshman
David Narovec (Linz, Austria) were defeated in number one doubles, 8-6.
Young battled at number four singles but came short 6-0, 4-6, 10-8.
The Eagles will be back home at Edgewood Bath and Tennis in Middlebury, Conn. against Concordia on Monday, March 25. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
