The Post University volleyball team plays four matches this week with all but one coming away from Waterbury. The Eagles travel to Molloy on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and return home against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Concordia on Thursday at 7 p.m. They cap off the week with two games in Manchester, N.H. on Saturday against NYIT at 2 p.m. and Southern New Hampshire at 4 p.m.

The Eagles fell to Stonehill on Saturday, Sept. 1 by a score of 3-1. Post won its first set of 2012, edging the Skyhawks 28-26 in the second stanza. Senior Kelli Reynolds (Stamford, Conn.) led all players with 20 kills on the afternoon.

Post was selected to finish fourth in the CACC North Division in the Aug. 24 poll. The Eagles garnered 55 votes. Caldwell was picked first in the North with 95 votes, while Holy Family was chosen first in the South with 94 votes. Each received 11 first-place nods.
 
BRIENZA NAMES HIS CAPTAIN:
Sixth-year head coach Michael Brienza named senior Kelly Hayes (South Orange, N.J.) the 2012 team captain. She is ranked seventh all-time in digs with 934, and Hayes needs just 66 to eclipse 1,000 in her career. Last season, she ranked second on the team in digs with 256, and was the team leader in digs during the 2010 season with 303.
