WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to Wilmington on Saturday afternoon at LaMoy Field in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match. Chelsea Grace scored the golden goal in the 105
th minute to send the Wildcats to their fourth league win of the season.
Grace took a feed from Morgan Fraczkowski on the right side that she put into the upper left corner of the goal.

Grace McConnell (Leeds, England) made a season-high 13 saves for Post (1-7, 0-5 CACC) and classmate
Renel Dennis (Queens, N.Y.) tallied a goal. Dennis has scored in back-to-back matches for the Eagles.
Wilmington (4-4-1, 4-1 CACC) took a 1-0 lead in the 16
th minute as Jenna Quaranta scored from outside of the 18-yard box on a drive that went over the head of McConnell. The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead in halftime.
The Eagles leveled the score at 1-1 in the opening minutes of the second half. Dennis tallied her team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 48
th minute after she beat a defender one-on-one. She took a pass from senior
Sabrina Sinopoli (Watertown, Conn.) and beat the defender to the goal and finished.
In the match, Post was outshot 21-7 and Wilmington held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Eagles will conclude a three-match homestand and aim for their first CACC win when Post hosts Concordia on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. The contest will be played at LaMoy Field.
