MIDDLEBURY, Conn. - The Post University men's tennis team returns home to Edgewood Bath & Tennis in Middlebury and begins a five-match homestand on Thursday, March 29, when it hosts American International in a non-conference dual match. The Eagles will conclude the week with a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match against Caldwell on Saturday, March 31, at 1 p.m.
The Eagles will look to get back in the win column and snap a three-match losing streak. Most recently, Post dropped a 9-0 decision at #7 Concordia on Wednesday.
AIC enters the contest in search of its first point and win of the season. The Yellow Jackets lost to Stonehill and Bentley on March 24 and March 27, respectively.
SERIES HISTORY WITH AIC:
Thursday's dual match marks the fourth meeting between Post and AIC since 2006. The Yellow Jackets have won all meetings, but Post won three matches last year. Sophomore
Danny Bonamassa defeated Jake Anderson, 6-1, 6-7 (6-8), 11-9.

In the 7-2 win over Bloomfield, four Eagles got their first singles wins of the season. They included
Danny Bonamassa (fifth singles – 6-2, 6-3),
Mateus Garcia (fourth singles, 6-2, 2-6, 6-2),
Dreshawn Lewis (second singles, 6-0, 6-0) and
Markeese MCleod (sixth singles, 6-0, 6-1).
SINGLE-SEASON WINS TOTAL:
During the 2010-11 year,
Danny Bonamassa set the program's single-season record for wins with seven. He claimed the mark with an 8-6 win at sixth singles against Philadelphia. He finished the season 7-4.
