WATERBURY, Conn. –
Michael Mannetti, the head sprint football coach at Post University, named
Dan Petrosky the Director of Football Operations on Tuesday afternoon.
Andrew Ratcliffe, who was the former Director of Football Operations, will remain on the staff as the Director of Player Personnel.
In his volunteer role, Petrosky will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, as well as practice and film session management. Additionally, he will make travel arrangements for the student-athletes, coaching staff, athletic trainers, managers and administration for all road trips.
“We're excited to add an individual of Dan's caliber to the Post University football program,” Mannetti said. “Dan's ability to assist with recruiting the type of student-athlete we need also makes him a viable choice for this position. Adding Dan to the team will make things run a lot smoother on a daily basis for our program.”
An accomplished employee of the State of Connecticut judicial branch, Petrosky graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., in 2000.
The Post University sprint football team finished the 2011 season with wins over conference foes Cornell and Princeton last year.
