GAME CENTER:
The Post University men's basketball team will look for its fourth straight win and first 2-0 start in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play since 2007-08 when it hosts Concordia in its 2012-13 home opener on Tuesday night.
The Eagles' three-game win streak matches the longest from a season ago, and a win over the Clippers on Tuesday would mark the longest stretch of consecutive wins since they were victorious in eight straight from Feb. 9 – March 1, 2011.

Junior
Jerry Cummings finished a
Jake Wilcox missed layup to lift the Eagles over two-time defending ECC champion LIU Post 73-72 at Pratt Recreation Center on Saturday afternoon. His finish came with 2.1 seconds remaining and capped a 5-0 run to conclude the extra stanza.
After the Pioneers scored the first four points of the overtime period to take a 72-68 lead, junior
Zach Krischer pulled the Eagles within one after a three-pointer with 1:16 to play. After a traveling violation on the Pioneers with 36.2 seconds to play, Post had the ball with the opportunity to win the game.
Krischer missed a three-point attempt with 16 seconds on the clock, but junior
Devin Willis grabbed the offensive rebound on the block to give the Eagles the last shot. Wilcox drove to the right and missed the layup, but Cummings was in perfect position under the basket to finish.
All-Time Series With Concordia:
Post enters Tuesday's CACC tilt with a all-time record of 5-3 against Concordia, and the Eagles swept the regular season series last year. The squad is 2-1 at home against the Clippers with the lone loss coming in double overtime on Jan. 19, 2011

Zach Krischer led the CACC in three-point field goal percentage with a mark of 48.2. In fact his percentage from distance was better than his overall field goal percentage (47.7). Nationally, Krischer sat 82
nd in three-point field goals made per game with an average of 2.39.
Internationally Known:
Post men's basketball head coach
Al Sokaitis was named the Tanzania national head coach of the men's and women's basketball programs on Aug. 29. The goal is for the country to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.
Preseason Prognostications:
The Eagles were tabbed to finish third in the North Division of the CACC Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was released on Monday, Nov. 12. Post totaled 59 points and one first place vote from the league's 13 head coaches. Sokaitis' team was picked behind Bloomfield and Dominican in the North Division.
On The Horizon:
The Eagles will host Queens in non-conference action on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 1 p.m. The teams met on Nov. 10, to close out the Molloy Tip-Off Tournament and Post prevailed 79-78 in overtime.
