Sara Cramer (Lake Hiawatha, N.J.) scored her second goal in the last three matches for the Eagles.
Caldwell (9-3, 6-1 CACC) took a 2-1 lead at the 75:20 mark on a tally by Natalie Migoya. Migoya received a through ball from Laruen Iuliucci and scored from 18 yards out. The Cougars added an insurance goal in the 81
st minute when Julie Crankshaw found the back of the net.
After it trailed 1-0 at halftime, Cramer leveled the score at 1-1 at the 69:00 mark. Senior
Sabrina Sinopoli (Watertown, Conn.) fed a ball toward the box from the right side that was touched on by junior
Renel Dennis (Queens, N.Y.) to find Cramer for the tally. With the assist, Dennis extended her current scoring streak to six consecutive matches. For Sinopoli, it was her team-leading seventh helper of the season.
For the match, Post (4-8, 3-6 CACC) was outshot 27-6 and Caldwell maintained a 21-4 advantage in shots on goal. The Cougars boasted a 9-4 edge in corner kicks. Individually, junior
Grace McConnell (Leeds, England) made a career-high 18 saves for Post.
The Eagles will continue their four-match road swing on Saturday, Oct. 13, when they travel to Chestnut Hill for a CACC match. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
