WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's soccer team won its third straight game on Saturday as it defeated Goldey-Beacom 2-0 at LaMoy Field. Junior
Renel Dennis (Queens, N.Y.) scored her team-high 11
th goal of the season in the victory.

Sabrina Sinopoli (Watertown, Conn.) recorded four shots each. Junior
Grace McConnell (Leeds, England) had three saves in the victory.
The Eagles (4-7, 3-5 CACC) got on the board late in the first half. Sinopoli launched the ball in front of everybody from midfield. Dennis ran ahead of the defense and scored on an unchallenged shot at 30:16 to give Post the lead 1-0 lead.
Goldey-Beacom (3-9, 1-7 CACC) had a chance to tie at 54:57 in the second half. Kelly Williams dribble by the defense but couldn't get it past a diving McConnell. Two minutes later, senior
Sara Cramer (Lake Hiawatha, N.J.) nearly scored on a cross over the middle.
Sophomore
Tessa Dunster (Stamford, Conn.) put the game away with her sixth goal of the season. After a cross by Cramer, Alyssa Vetrano, the Lightning goalkeeper, bobbled the ball and Dunster came in and launched a goal to give Post a 2-0 lead.
The Eagles outshot the Lightning 13-4. Post has outscored its opponents 10-1 during its three-game winning streak.
Post will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at Caldwell. The match begins at 3 p.m.
