NYACK, N.Y. - The Post University men's basketball team will begin a four-game road trip at Nyack's Bowman Gymnasium on Thursday, Jan. 12. The Eagles eye their second win of the 2012 calendar year when they take on the winless Nyack Warriors in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game at 8 p.m.
Post (4-10, 2-3 CACC) dropped its third straight game, an 86-75 decision to Philadelphia University on Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Drubner Center. The Eagles cut their deficit to eight against the Rams with as few as 4:33 remaining on a
Jerry Cummings (La Plata, Md.) three-pointer. Four Post players scored in double figures, led by senior
Geraldo Fernandez (Monticello, N.Y.) who scored 17 points. Fernandez shot 3-for-6 from three-point range in the game.
Series History:
Post has amassed a 7-3 record in its last 10 meetings with Nyack. The Eagles swept the season series in 2010-11 behind a 94-55 blowout at the Drubner Center on Dec. 11, while earning a 72-68 triumph on Feb. 8 at Bowman Gymnasium.

The Warriors lost their first 16 games of the 2011-12 season, and most recently suffered a 91-74 setback to Concordia College on Tuesday night.
