WATERBURY, CT (September 14, 2011) Post University women's soccer took its first match of the season Wednesday afternoon against Concordia-New York. Renel Dennis led the charge with one goal on six shots.

Dennis's goal came at 33:00 on a pass from Megan Hanson. Kelly Markure added a goal at the start of the second half to extend the Eagles lead to 2-0.

Post also received a strong performance from goalkeeper Grace McConnell who stopped all of Concordia's six shots. The Eagles had 17 shots in the contest, including Sara Cramer with five and Danielle Charette with four.

The Eagles will be home on Monday to play Molloy College.
