WATERBURY, Conn (April 14, 2011) Post University's men's tennis team picked up its second conference win of the season against Bloomfield 6-3 Thursday afternoon.

In doubles competition Caio Rodriguez and Danny Bonamassa defeated Ceran Messam and Lordale Benosa 9-7. Markeese McLeod and Alamin Ripon topped Michael Beeson and Terry Gibbs 8-4 for two of the Eagle victories.

In number two singles McLeod took a (6-0, 6-2) win over Peter Beckford. Ripon downed Jamal Loper (6-0, 6-4) in number three singles. Mark Risbridger topped Luis Perez (6-2, 6-0) in the number five pairing and Bonamassa defeated Evan McCall (7-5, 6-4) in number six singles.

The Eagles now improve to 2-4 in conference play and will play Philadelphia at home on Friday.
