WATERBURY, Conn. (March 25, 2011)---Alamin Ripon defeated Dowling College's Justin Skidmore, in straight sets, but Post University fell to Dowling, 7-1, Friday at Chase Collegiate.

Ripon dominated Skidmore, winning 6-1, 6-1.

Sophomore Michael McDonald almost knocked off Dowling's Adam Kliti, losing a thrilling three set match, 8-7, 7-8, 8-7.

The rest of the singles matches saw Dowling's Eduardo Ribero defeat Post University's Caio Rodrigues, 7-5, 6-2, and Sardor Mamajodnov defeat the Eagles' Muamer Ahmetovic in straight sets.

Dowling also took all three doubles matches.

Post University returns to action tomorrow when they travel to Philadelphia to take on Chestnut Hill College.
