WATERBURY, Conn (March 19, 2011) In their first home match of the 2011 season, the Post University Eagles took a commanding 7-2 victory over Albertus Magnus Saturday afternoon in Waterbury.

The Eagles won in five singles and two doubles in the match. Caio Rodriguez started things off in No. 1 singles with a (6-1, 6-2) victory over Maicus Artaiz. Mark Risbridger, who also plays men's soccer swept Jimmy Econompouios (6-0, 6-0) in No. 3 singles.

Then in the fourth pair it was Michael McLeod over Jefferson Lorg (6-1, 6-1), while Hylton Davis defeated Zach Douglas (6-2, 6-1), and Errol Reid topped Mionaelo Hernandez  (6-0, 6-0).

Doubles competition saw McLeod and MacDonald team up for an 8-1 victory over Lorg and Econompouios. Reid and Davis defeated Douglas and Hernandez 8-0.

Post University will return to competition with a home match against Bloomfield on March 22.
