WATERBURY, Conn. (February 19, 2011)—The Post University men's basketball team stomped all over Philadelphia U. Saturday afternoon, pasting the Rams 69-44.
The Eagles never trailed in the game, and led by as many as 27 points (64-37), thoroughly dominating Philadelphia the entire way.
Cecil Stinson* led the Eagles (14-10, 12-4 CACC) with 17 points, including knocking down four of six three-point tries.
It was the lowest scoring output of the season for Philadelphia University (14-10, 9-6 CACC), which had won four of five before the Eagles came into town.
Temi Adebayo led the Rams with 10 points.
With the win, Post University remains just one game back of Bloomfield College for first place in the CACC.
The Eagles return to action on Wednesday, when they face Caldwell College at the Drub'. Post University will play three consecutive games at home, having clinched a home game in the CACC Tournament, which begins March 1.
