Cecil Stinson* poured in 24 points, and Post University broke up Holy Family, 82-57.
Stinson added 5 rebounds and 3 assists in another great performance. He also put up 24 points on Wednesday against Nyack College.
Reggie Holding added 13 points and 8 rebounds for the Eagles (11-10, 9-4 CACC).
Geraldo Fernandez also had another great showing for Post University, scoring 14 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.
Garvin McAlister had 8 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds in another all-around terrific game for the senior point guard.
Holy Family (5-18, 3-10 CACC) was led by guard Rashaad Sneed, who scored 17 points. Tim Smith added 15 points and 5 rebounds for the Tigers.
Post University jumped out to an 11-0 lead after four different players knocked down deep jumpers.
The Eagles never looked back, dazzling the Drubner Center crowd with a couple of highlight-reel alley-oops, including one from
Geraldo Fernandez to
James Lee that gave the Eagles a 16-9 lead and forced a Holy Family timeout.
Lee would connect on all four of his shot attempts, finishing with 8 points.
The Eagles shot 47 percent for the game, compared to Holy Family's 33 percent.
Post University's rugged defense held the Tigers to just 24 percent shooting in the first half.
