WATERBURY, Conn. (February 12, 2011)—Cecil Stinson* poured in 24 points, and Post University broke up Holy Family, 82-57.

Stinson added 5 rebounds and 3 assists in another great performance. He also put up 24 points on Wednesday against Nyack College.

Reggie Holding added 13 points and 8 rebounds for the Eagles (11-10, 9-4 CACC).Geraldo Fernandez also had another great showing for Post University, scoring 14 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.

Garvin McAlister had 8 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds in another all-around terrific game for the senior point guard.

Holy Family (5-18, 3-10 CACC) was led by guard Rashaad Sneed, who scored 17 points. Tim Smith added 15 points and 5 rebounds for the Tigers.

Post University jumped out to an 11-0 lead after four different players knocked down deep jumpers.

 The Eagles never looked back, dazzling the Drubner Center crowd with a couple of highlight-reel alley-oops, including one from Geraldo Fernandez to James Lee that gave the Eagles a 16-9 lead and forced a Holy Family timeout.

Lee would connect on all four of his shot attempts, finishing with 8 points.

The Eagles shot 47 percent for the game, compared to Holy Family's 33 percent.
Post University's rugged defense held the Tigers to just 24 percent shooting in the first half.

The Eagles return to action on Tuesday, when league-leading Bloomfield College (12-2 CACC) invades the Drub'.  The ball is scheduled to be thrown into the air signaling the beginning of play at some point around 8 p.m. Be there.
