Post would score just 10 points the rest of the half and was down 38-19 at the break.
The second half was more of the same as St. Anselm pushed the lead to 30, outscoring the Eagles 30-10 in the first ten minutes of the half. Nine straight points by Post, capped off by a three pointer by Zach Krischner with 4:09 left, cut the lead to 21, but it was too late as they fell 70-41.

Fouls were a problem for Post, who had 17 on the day to the Hawks eight. They could never get it going on the glass and were outrebounded 41-28.
The Eagles will open their home schedule Tuesday night as they take on in-state rival Bridgeport.
