Scouting The Hawks
St. Anselm comes into Saturday's matchup at 1-2, with the lone victory coming against CACC member Concordia, 86-59. They are coming of a very successful 2010-2011 season in which they finished 19-9, before falling to St. Rose in the Northeast-10 Quarterfinals. They are a young team, led in scoring by freshman Roy Mabrey, who averages 19 ppg. Allen Harris also provides some good minutes for the Hawks, averaging 10.7 points and nine rebounds per contest.

Last Season
The Eagles lost a heartbreaker to St. Anselm last season at home. Cecil Stinson* hit a three pointer for Post with just over 10 seconds left to give them a 71-70 lead. Thomas Baudinet dribbled down the court as time winded down and nail a jumper from 15 feet out with five seconds left to give the Hawks a 72-71 victory. Baudinet, who has since graduated, had 25 points in the game. Spencer Smith had 19 for the Eagles.

Eagles So Far
Post University was defeated in both of their games this season. They lost in the first round of the Bridgeport Tournament to Southern Connecticut 84-64. The next night they fell in a close battle with No. 23 Umass-Lowell, 60-50. Zach Krischer and Jake Wilcox have been pacing the Eagles scoring effort, averaging 11 points per game each. Post has been strong on defense, creating 45 turnovers in two games. Offense has been a different story as the Eagles have only shot 34% from the floor, compared to 52% from their opponents.
