WATERBURY, Conn (January 6, 2011) Post University's men's and women's basketball team will host Wilmington University Saturday afternoon at the Drubner Center. The women's game begins at 1pm with the men to follow at 3pm
Women's Preview 1pm:
Post University (4-7, 2-2 CACC) is coming off back to back wins and looking to ride the momentum into Saturday's game against Wilmington.
Raven Wright-James had a career-high 26 points in the Eagles' 65-53 win over Mercy last time out. The freshman forward was on fire from downtown, draining 5 of her 7 three point attempts in the game. The performance earned Wright-James recognition as the CACC Rookie of the Week. She is averaging 10.8 points per game for the season, which is second best among the Eagles.
Wilmington (2-11, 2-4 CACC) has struggled this season, but features a balanced offensive attack, with seven players averaging over 5 points per game. Guard Ashley Davison leads the Wildcats at 8.8 ppg.

The Eagles (5-7, 3-1 CACC) look to continue their hot start in conference play as they challenge Wilmington University Saturday.
Post University is coming off a 70-58 defeat at the hands of C.W. Post last week splitting the season series with the Pioneers after winning the first game 77-73 at the Drubner Center.
Guard Spencer Smith surpassed the 800 career point mark in the Eagles' last home game against American International College. Smith now has 812 points for his career.
Wilmington (5-7, 3-1 CACC) is led by junior forward Corye Payton, who is averaging 13.2 points per game. Guards Dennis Herbert and Isiah Mason each also average in double figures.
The Wildcats are coming off a close, 78-73 loss to Division I Coppin State on Monday.
