Chestnut Hill Downs Women's Soccer 4-0

PHILADELPHIA, PA (September 25, 2010) Post University's women's soccer team lost to Chestnut Hill College 4-0 Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia. Griffin Lauren Riiff netted three unassisted goals and added one assist en route to Chestnut Hill's victory.

Riiff's first goal came just moments into the contest at the 4:06 mark with a high shot from the left side that found the back of the net. Her second goal came midway through the first half on a breakaway down the middle beating Eagle keeper Liz Johnson. Johnson made seven saves on the day.

Leading 2-0 at the half, Chestnut Hill could not break the Post University defense for the first 17 minutes. Then a long throw into the box was headed by Riiff toward Tara Morey who headed a ball into the net making it 3-0 Griffins. Riff would score one more unassisted goal after firing a long shot from the edge of the box.

Chestnut Hill lead in shots 19-8 and in corner kicks 6-2.

Post University will be back in action at Philadelphia University on Saturday.
