Eagle Basketball Hosts Felician in Home Conference Opener Thursday

WATERBURY, Conn (December 8, 2010) Post University will host the Felician Golden Falcons Thursday evening at the Drubner Center in Waterbury for the first home conference games of the season. Tip-off for the women is slated for 6pm with the men to follow at 8pm.

The Eagles (2-6, 1-1 CACC) look for a huge victory tonight against a very worthy opponent in Felician College. Post University is coming off a 62-53 road win over Concordia College in New York on Tuesday. 
 
Kelli Reynolds has been a force for the Eagles, averaging 21.0 points per game in the team's two CACC contests thus far. Diaysha Brewington has been outstanding under the boards, grabbing 7.0 rebounds per game. Raven Wright-James just gathered her first double double of the season last time out with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Felician (5-1, 1-0 CACC) is led by standout forward Quay Baskerville, who is averaging 17.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. As reigning Player of the Week, Baskerville is ranked third in scoring in the CACC.

Men's Basketball:

 winning streak snapped by Concordia, 77-74 on Tuesday. Tonight's game marks the first of a four game home stand for Post University

Senior guard Spencer Smith has been having a terrific season for the Eagles, averaging 12.7 points per game, including an 18 points effort in the win against Dominican last week.

Felician (2-4, 0-1 CACC) is led by standout forward Devon Young, who was named CACC Player of the Week and is averaging 19.3 points per game, including 20.7 points in three games last week.
