WATERBURY, Conn.--Post University defeated Nyack College, 94-55, in a Drubner Center-drubbing Saturday. 

Garvin McAlister led the team with a season-high 23 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 5 assists in a game that was never in doubt. 

McAlister and forward Rishawn Johnson made sure of that, going on their own two-man 16-0 run that turned a 5-5 tie into a 21-5 Eagles lead.

McAlister had 9 points during the run, while Johnson added 7, including a powerful three-point play that shifted momentum decisively to the Eagles' side.

Johnson and Cecil Stinson* each added 15 points for the Eagles (5-4, 3-1 CACC), who have won five of six since beginning the year with three close losses.  

Guard Matt Morgan led Nyack (4-5, 0-2 CACC) with 12 points.

The Eagles unleashed a barrage of three pointers—and knocked most of them down, connecting on 13 of 24 attempts (57 percent.) Senior Cecil Stinson* led the way, hitting five of his seven attempts from downtown, accounting for all 15 of his points.   

The Warriors, on the other hand, shot just 27 percent from three point territory.

Post University scored 33 points off of 23 Nyack turnovers.

The Eagles return to action next Sunday, when they take on Saint Anslem at the Drub'.
