Women's Soccer Upends Goldey-Beacom in Overtime 3-2

WATERBURY, CT (October 23, 2010) Post University women's soccer picked up its second win a row against Goldey-Beacom College from Delaware. The Eagles were led by senior Rachel Shivers and sophomore Sabrina Sinopoli. Sinopoli scored a goal of her own while contributing assists to both of Shivers' goals.
The game-winning goal came in the second overtime when Sinopoli squeezed a ball between three girls and found Shivers streaking up field. The senior rewarded her fellow forward and drilled the ball past the goalie to end the game before it could be called a draw.
Post will look to continue its hot streak and close the season out on a three game winning streak as they play host to the Dominican College Chargers from New York on Thursday. This game will be senior night for Post University and is slated to start at 3:00 p.m.
