Women's Soccer Defeated by Wilmington in Final Minute

New Castle, Delaware (September 19, 2009) – Megan Hansen's goal would not be enough to keep Wilmington and Post University knotted at 1, after 90 minutes of play. The Eagles record now stands at 1-1 in conference play.

The Eagles took the first lead of the game in the opening half with Hansen's one timer. It was her first goal of the season. Just minutes later, Wilmington's Kristen Stallone tied the game at one. 

It appeared as though the game was going to overtime until the final minute of play when Stallone struck again after a scramble out in front of the goal. Her second goal was enough to allow Wilmington to sneak by for the win.

Post University will be in action again at Felician on September 23rd.
